Paul is a registered architect, a planner, and co-founder & CPO of BuildCasa. His professional design background includes corporate office, residential, hospitality, senior living, planning, and urban design. He has experience with design firms and research institutions in the United States, Germany, China and Japan.

Paul has been recognized with awards and fellowships, including the Frank Wilkinson Fellowship, the T Gordon Little Fellowship, the Henry Adams AIA Award, and as a National Finalist in the 2018 ULI Hines Student Competition.

His graduate school research at Georgia Tech proposed models for increasing housing supply through backyard partnerships with homeowners.
